3. 数据会发给谁

只有一方：你自己配置的 AssemblyAI 账号（域名 api.assemblyai.com）。扩展把录音上传到你自己的账号做说话人分离与转写，再取回结果。这条传输走 HTTPS。

AssemblyAI 是独立的第三方服务，它的数据处理由 AssemblyAI 自己的隐私政策和你的账号设置决定。开发者无法访问、也无法代为删除你账号里的数据。如果你没有配置密钥，扩展完全不联网，只在本机按静音切分音频。

4. 我们不做的事

没有自建服务器，音频、文本、密钥都不会发到开发者这里。
没有账号系统，不需要注册、登录，也不收集邮箱或任何身份信息。
没有统计分析、没有崩溃上报、没有广告，也没有第三方 SDK。
不读取、不上传你的浏览历史；只有你主动录制的那一个标签页的音频会被处理。
不把数据卖给或转给任何第三方，不用于广告画像、信用评估等任何用途。
没有任何人会人工查看你的数据——开发者根本拿不到。

5. 保留多久 / 你怎么删

本机录音：只保留最近 3 段，被新录制顶掉时旧文件即被删除；卸载扩展会清空全部本地数据（含浏览器本地存储与 OPFS）。
密钥：面板里的「清除 key」按钮可随时删除；卸载扩展也会一并清除。
已导出到下载目录的文件：由你自己管理，扩展不会再去碰它们。
已经上传到你自己 AssemblyAI 账号的音频：请到 AssemblyAI 账号里删除，这部分不在扩展的控制范围内。

6. 安全

所有网络请求均使用 HTTPS；密钥只存放在本机 chrome.storage.local，不会写入日志，也不会出现在导出的音频或文本文件里。扩展不加载、也不执行任何远程下发的代码。

7. 有限使用（Limited Use）声明

从 Google API 获得的信息的使用将遵守 Chrome 应用商店用户数据政策，包括其中的有限使用（Limited Use）要求。

8. 儿童

本扩展面向能够自行理解并同意本政策的成年用户，不面向儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的任何数据。

1. Summary

VoiceSnip records audio from a browser tab that you explicitly start recording, hands that audio to the AssemblyAI account you configured so it can separate the speakers, and then saves the clips and transcripts on your own computer. The developer runs no servers and never receives your audio, transcripts or API key. There is no analytics and no advertising.

2. What data the extension handles

3. Who receives data

Exactly one party: the AssemblyAI account you configured yourself (api.assemblyai.com). The extension uploads the recording to your own account for speaker separation and transcription, then retrieves the result. That transfer uses HTTPS.

AssemblyAI is an independent third-party service, and its handling of your data is governed by AssemblyAI's own privacy policy and your account settings. The developer cannot access or delete data inside your account. If you have not configured a key, the extension makes no network requests at all and splits audio locally by silence.

4. What we do not do

No developer servers: audio, transcripts and keys never reach us.
No accounts, no sign-up, no collection of emails or identity data.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no third-party SDKs.
No reading or uploading of your browsing history; only the audio of the one tab you deliberately recorded is processed.
No selling or transferring of data to anyone, and no use for ad targeting or credit assessment.
No human ever reads your data — the developer simply does not have it.

5. Retention and how to delete

Local recordings: only the last 3 takes are kept; older ones are deleted when a new take rotates them out. Uninstalling the extension clears all local data (extension storage and OPFS).
API key: the "Clear key" button removes it at any time; uninstalling removes it too.
Files already exported to your Downloads folder are yours to manage; the extension never touches them again.
Audio already uploaded to your own AssemblyAI account: delete it from that account. It is outside the extension's control.

6. Security

All network requests use HTTPS. The key is kept only in local chrome.storage.local, is never written to logs, and never appears in exported audio or text files. The extension does not load or execute any remotely hosted code.
